SCOPE: Demolition of fire-damaged hay processing and storage sheds and reconstruction of new hay processing and storage shed, plant room and fire protection services. Works were concurrent with operational business during construction. Total area 11,000m2

DESIGN: The building has large-span trusses, for column free areas, maximising the processed hay storage area. Compartmentalised electrical and hydraulic services ensure the protection of both the hay sheds and expensive automated equipment from potential fire risk. Due to the fire hazard, on-site water storage and fully automatic pump sets for fire services were installed. Along with fully monitored and smoke-detected sprinkler fire services (AS-1670 compliant)
